Our Terms & Conditions are here to answer any of your queries or concerns, please feel free to contact us if you need and further clarification. We have tried to keep these as simple as possible and we do encourage everyone to read and understand these in full.

1. The Basics

1.1 – The client(s) hereby allow(s) Infinity Films to display any image/film covered by this contract and to generally promote the business in advertising, brochures, magazine articles, websites, sample albums etc.

1.2 – Any reference to “video” includes but not limited to DVD’s, Blu-ray’s, USB stick/flash drive and any other digital or analogue copies of your wedding production, physical or otherwise.

1.3 – It is the client’s responsibility to secure access to areas for filming and cover any associated fees. Infinity Films will not be responsible for coverage lost due to access restrictions.

1.4 – Infinity Films will not be held liable for any production problems beyond our control, e.g. bad weather, accidents, poor acoustics/lighting, interference from guests, etc.

1.5 – Infinity Films reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for any reasonable cause, e.g. accident or ill health. In this event all monies paid will be refunded in full.

1.6 – It is your responsibility to obtain the consent from the owners of the church and/or other venue where the event is being held and all other persons involved in the event, such as any person conducting the ceremony, the choir, organist and other musicians to record the event before it takes place and to pay any fees charged by them. Failure to have this consent in place may result in copyright issues and as a result parts of the event being missed.

 

2. Your Film Package

2.1 – Although every reasonable effort is made to ensure that all the equipment we use for your event is in sound working order, if a problem with the equipment should arise our liability is limited to making a refund of the sums that you have paid us in respect of the booking. In the event of a part of the event being recorded we will in that case return a fair proportion of the price.

2.2 – We are obliged to respect the wishes and regulations of anyone officiating at a wedding ceremony. For example, this may affect where we are permitted to position cameras. In such circumstances we will endeavour to work with them to get the best possible coverage of your day. It is your responsibility to make them aware that video cameras will be filming on the day

2.3 – Infinity Films has full creative control over your wedding film and how it is filmed and edited, we will however work with the client were possible to capture specific shots. We will do everything we can to ensure these shots are captured however we cannot be held responsible if these shots are missed due to external conditions.

2.4 – You can supply a list of music to be used within your wedding film however Infinity Films reserves the right to choose not to use some or all music provided by the client due to the nature of the film. We will however work with you on this wherever possible.

2.5 – Infinity Films reserve the right to choose the music for all wedding trailers and teaser clips.

2.6 – Infinity Films will take all reasonable care to ensure your wedding is captured in any adverse weather conditions, however Infinity films will not be liable for any disappointment caused by adverse weather conditions.

2.7 – Adverse weather may effect equipment use and therefore Infinity Films reserves the right to stop filming to ensure no damage is caused to any equipment.

 

3. On the day

3.1 – It is expected that the team (maximum of 3 when photo and film booked) will be provided a meal during the evening of the ceremony.  This can be as part of the wedding meal or ‘bar snack’.  It is expected that this is provided in a location away from the main reception as editing and backing up shall be undertaken.

3.2 – Any direction issued to clients, their guests or employees by Infinity Films are deemed to be at said person’s own risk. Infinity Films cannot be held responsible for any personal injury.

3.3 – All reasonable action will be taken to ensure the best possible audio is captured throughout the wedding day, however Infinity Films cannot be held liable if such issues arise, these maybe but not limited to, person or persons not willing to wear or use a microphone, venue audio breaking up or no microphone audio equipment provided. It is recommended that all clients speak to their venues before their wedding about any audio requirements, Infinity Films will make themselves available for questions regarding these requirements at any stage.

 

4. Delivery

4.1 – Although every effort is made to ensure your Teaser is delivered on the day of your wedding, circumstances including but not limited to Internet access, timings of the days event may have an effect on this being delivered on the same day. In this case we will endeavour to upload your teaser clip with 48 hours after your wedding ceremony.

4.2 – We aim to deliver your wedding trailer within 4 weeks of your wedding date, this is a courtesy date as factors such as holidays, workloads etc may effect the final date. If you do need your film returned by a certain date please ensure this is detailed at the time of booking to allow for forward planning and to ensure you are not disappointed.

4.3 – We aim to deliver all finished films within 14 weeks after your wedding date, this is a courtesy date as factors such as holidays, workloads etc may effect the final date. 4.4 – All storybook films are delivered on USB Flash drives that can be used in any PC and/or Smart TV.

4.5 – The client has the right to make copies and share their Teaser, Trailer and Storybook film with their friends and family.

4.6 – Finished films will be held for 1 year after delivery, including all RAW footage. This may be deleted after this time, clients are welcome to all of this footage for a charge of £150. Clients should note that all footage will come in its RAW state.

 

5. Payment

5.1 – A non-refundable booking fee of 10% (unless otherwise arranged) will confirm your booking, as well as full acceptance of the terms and conditions as published. The booking fee will be deducted from the cost of the client’s chosen package when calculating the final balance due.

5.2 – Full payment of the outstanding balance is due on the 1st of the month prior to your wedding, for example if your wedding is on October 12th your full payment will be due on 1st September.

5.3 – If the event is cancelled by Infinity Films, or in the very unlikely event of total film failure or loss of data, liability shall be limited to a full refund of any fees paid. We strongly recommend all clients to take out wedding insurance to protect yourself from any losses should disaster happen.

 

6. Cancellation

6.1 – You can cancel your event up to 61 days before your event date, deposits are non refundable unless otherwise arranged.

6.2 – Cancellation of your event with 60 days or less before the event date will result in you having to pay the full balance unless your date is booked within this time.

6.3 – Any booked flights, accommodation, train travel, insurance, other travel or any other associated costs are chargeable in full regardless of notice period if we are unable to receive a refund from the supplier.

6.4 – In the unlikely event that we are required to cancel a booking due to staffing issues, dangerous driving conditions, acts of God, camera operator illness, equipment malfunction or any other unforeseen situations, you will be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid which is also the limit to any liability we have. In the event of severe weather making driving dangerous, if we cannot make it to your venue(s), you will be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid. In the event of bad weather where we successfully make it to your venue(s) but the wedding is cancelled (e.g. either by the venue closing, the wedding party being unable to travel), you will still be charged in full. We strongly recommend to all clients to take out wedding insurance to protect yourself from any losses should disaster happen.

 

Terms & Conditions will be deemed accepted by the client when the deposit is paid.
